Connexion — the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program’s (CBP’s) secure portal.

For Round 2028, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has combined all aspects of the DMEPOS CBP, from submitting a bid to managing a contract(s) into one secure application — Connexion.

Bidders use Connexion to:

  • Submit bids and upload required bidding and financial documents during the bid window,
  • Review bid-related notices and requests, including Covered Document Review Date (CDRD), Bona Fide Bid (BFB), and Preliminary Bid Evaluation (PBE) notices, as applicable,
  • Respond to requests for information and upload supporting documentation when required,
  • Track their bidding status (e.g., incomplete and complete) and identify actions that need attention, and
  • Review and respond to contract offers, including accepting or declining an offer.

Contract suppliers use Connexion to:

  • View their signed DMEPOS CBP Contract,
  • Monitor the current status of their awarded contract,
  • Maintain contract information by completing and submitting required update forms after contract award,
  • Request contract updates, including adding or removing locations,
  • Complete semi-annual Form C reporting of manufacturer and model information,
  • Disclose subcontracting arrangements for certain services,
  • Request the full or partial transfer of a contract to another entity, and
  • Review contract notifications and upload required documents related to contract compliance and maintenance.

When the bidder registration window opens, suppliers will add Connexion to their account by logging in to the CMS Identity Management (IDM) System and following instructions. Stay tuned!
