Bid Preparation

To give bidders ample time to prepare, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has developed detailed educational resources for Round 2028 of the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics, and Supplies (DMEPOS) Competitive Bidding Program (CBP).

These resources provide basic information you need to prepare for submitting a bid in Round 2028. CMS will continue adding educational materials to this Competitive Bidding Implementation Contractor (CBIC) website throughout the bid preparation process, so check back often. You can also Subscribe for email updates to get notified when new content is added.

The CBIC website is the official source of information for bidders. It is the focal point for bidder education and contains important resources to help you get ready for Round 2028.
